Team Knickers

I almost feel bad for writing this because I know that I have an 'a-typical' body. I am a triathlete but my proportions are very 'pear' so things just don't fit me. These were no exception. I ordered my thigh size, a 6, thinking that the waist wouldn't be too big but it gapes terribly and just won't stay up - of course the thighs fit fine. I have ordered again in a size 4 and will see how they fit but I suspect there will still be fit issues. Maybe you can start making curvy sizes with a different thigh to waist ratio for those of us who are a little too thick in the bottom half? I mean, who is clothing sized for, particularly active-wear, if athletes can't wear them...?

I tried several sizes and these would not stay up while running.

to be honest, these were not what I was hoping for. they seem very different from all other oiselle bottoms I've bought/received in the past. more flimsy, the fit is different and a little off, and just not the quality I've come to expect from the brand. this is the first thing I've ever been pretty bummed about. there's nothing wrong with them, per se, they just leave much to be desired. interestingly enough, my opinion in this case seems to be in the minority - so if you're looking into getting these it would appear most people like or love them :)

I usually wear a size 8 in Oiselle bottoms, so got that size in the Team Knickers, but these were huge on me. I exchanged for a 6, which are definitely still too big in the waist but I can use the drawstring to make them more or less fit. I decided to keep them, but I probably could've (should've?) sized down to a 4 for a more compressive fit. They are certainly cute and comfortable, though. Just be careful with sizing!
