Today at #flytownUSA felt like 10 days...and it was a great representation of the ups and downs in this sport that we love.

We had a bit of a slow start this morning after the #flytownUSA party last night: Oiselle nationals parties are always different, but epic in their own way. The run community was in fine form at the Barn Light. Thanks those of you who came out!

But we were ready to cheer our hearts out this am for Kara Goucher, in a mercifully cooler temperature.

Kara ran so tough on a day that wasn't destined to be hers, and then delivered an absolutely stunning and inspiring interview after the race.

The women's 800 saw (still breastfeeding) mom Alysia Montaño control the last 300m of the race with a dominating win. Here's to amazing moms!!!

Sharing the bro love with steeple winner Evan Jager.

And then, holy moly the women's 1500m made us all lose our minds. After a pedestrian first 2/3 of the race, Kerri Gallagher went to Jenny Simpson's shoulder with 450m to go and just. kept. driving.

She had that fierce look in her eye when she passed our spot with 150m to go. Her knee drive over the last 50m was perfection. When Kerri crossed the line in 3rd: total chaos. What a race!! So happy for our world team qualifier.
